what should I bring?
Bring a change of clothes for the car, a bag for the messy clothes and an old towel.
what should my child wear?
Activities will differ from week to week but we always recommend dressing your child in old clothes that can get messy! That way they can fully immerse themselves in the experience without you worrying about their beautiful outfit.
what time should we arrive?
We recommend arriving 5 - 10 minutes early to get the most out of the session. While you are waiting for the session to begin, take the opportunity to get to know other people or check in to our event on your social media.
how will a typical session run?
Each 'sensory session' will start with a welcome and a story. Following that, we listen to a few songs and give the babies the opportunity to play with a few sensory toys while socialising. These include ribbons, shakers, scarves, bubbles and balls.

We'll take a short break to avoid a sensory overload; feel free to use the time to give your baby a feed, change or just have a cuddle.

When your child is ready they are welcome to approach the sensory stations at their own pace. Most activities are open-ended which means there is no right or wrong way to play at the station.

We will finish with a 'goodbye song' and then you are welcome to change your child ready for a big sleep in the car ride home.
